I am a PhD student at the Human-Computer Interaction Institute at Carnegie Mellon University. My advisor is Eric Paulos. My current research explores low-cost DIY technologies for citizen science, environmental sensing, and biosensing.
I recently co-organized a DIS'12 (DIY)bio workshop in Newcastle, UK. I am working on a home-built PCR machine.
Earlier, I worked for a small startup company.
I received my BA from New York University with a double major in Philosophy and Computer Science.
