I am a PhD student at the Human-Computer Interaction Institute at Carnegie Mellon University. My advisor is Eric Paulos. My current research explores low-cost DIY technology in the context of political discourse and citizen science.
I am co-organizing a DIS'12 (DIY)bio workshop, to be held in Newcastle, UK in June 2012.
Earlier, I worked for a small startup company.
I received my BA from New York University with a double major in Philosophy and Computer Science.
